GARY BROMHAM
WRITER / PRODUCER
Gary’s writing
and music production career had a rather unorthodox beginning, working on the
Icelandic entry for the Eurovision song contest. He also cut his teeth working
with the jazz-funk band Mezzaforte and a then unknown artist called Bjork.
Back in the UK, Gary worked with Andrew Ridgeley (of Wham fame), which led to
his first publishing deal in 1990. He continued to collaborate, working with
Sheryl Crow, Bow Wow Wow, The Tubes’ Fee Waybill, Robbie Neville, Eddie
Money and The Fixx, and also traveling to New York, Nashville and Los Angeles.
Gary also signed a record deal with his own band ‘The Big Blue’,
in 1995. The band released two singles before disbanding, allowing Gary to go
back to his writing and production career, signing to Reverb Music.
Since this time, he has had hits with Lonyo’s Summer of Love and
with Dannii Minogue’s Who Do You Love Now. He has also continued
to work with Sheryl Crow, mixing the single Soak up the Sun. He collaborates
with writers Pam Sheyne and Steve Lee on a number of project, as well as producing
Icelandic pop band Nylon, and developing new artist Karen Lee.
