John Fortis is fast
growing a reputation as one of the best writer /producers in the industry for
discovering and developing new talent and for producing some of the hottest
new bands in the UK. When John met Jonny Borrell in a north London pub they
began a writing partnership that would result in a double platinum album for
Razorlight with John producing their co-written Rock N Roll Lies, the first
single from their debut album Up All Night. John's wonderful diversity as both
a writer and producer has since led him to work with acts right across the musical
spectrum such as Paolo Nutini, The Noisettes, Ellie Goulding, Laura Marling,
The Prodigy, Olly Murs, Amanda Ghost, Art Brut, Leon Jean-Marie, The Pipettes,
Ben's Brother, Charlie Simpson, Hafdis Huld, Michael Kiwanuka and Eugene McGuiness.
More recently John has been developing new acts such as Decca Signing Victoria
Park, Luna Belle (Island), Lana Del Ray, Man Like Me (Black Butter Records),
Carly Connor (Atlantic), The Good Natured (Kitsune / EMI), Kenzie May and Pearl
and The Puppets.
