Marvin is a top line
and lyric writer who signed to Reverb Music in 2006.
Surrounded by a diverse array of music from an early age (Marvin is brother
of Grammy Award nominated writer and performer Marsha Ambrosius of Floetry)
his bass playing father influenced him to pursue a career in music. This career
started in 1999 when he signed his first publishing deal, and in 2004 he landed
a cut on the Angie Stone album Stone Love. Marvin has had success with
songs recorded by The Game and Nas, and also with Fundamental who are signed
to Geffen / Universal in the US.
Marvin also writes with several writing and production teams including Full
Phatt Productions (writers of Real Girl for Mutya Buena), and he has also written
with Iain James and K Gee, and with Alesha Dixon.
