Andy's songwriting
strength lies in his lyrics, melody, and vocal arrangements.
Andy's full-time writing career begun in 2003, when he scored a top five song
with German pop group Bro'sis titled Walking With You. Signing to Reverb
Music shortly after, Andy started collaborating with a wider base of writers
and getting his songs cut in the major music markets. He has subsequently had
songs cut in Japan (W:Inds); Korea (Deep NG); South Africa (Redd Angel, Danny
K); Australia (Paulini, Ricki Lee, Kate DeAraugo); Germany (Bro'sis, Tobias
Regener, Yvonne Catterfield); Italy (C-Loud); and of course the UK (Lemar, Nate
James, Blazin' Squad, 365, Terri Walker).
Collaborators have included Bloodshy & Avant, Cutfather & Joe, Jiant,
Jewels & Stone, The Lewinsons and Absolute. Andy is also still very active
in Germany and Scandinavia and makes regular trips over for writing sessions
with local producers.
Andy has also branched out in to writing television theme tunes. With regular
writing partner Jos Jorgensen, Andy scored the music for X Factor, Ant &
Dec's Gameshow Marathon, Vernon Kay's Gameshow Marathon, The Prince's Trust,
and Simon Cowell's hit US show, America's Got Talent and Britain's Got Talent.
