
DAVE CLAYTON
WRITER / PRODUCER / ARTIST
Dave Clayton is a
true industry all rounder, beginning his career as a keyboard player with his
band Celebration. He was spotted by ABC and joined them on a world tour, he
then went on to form a Person To Person with ex-ABC Drummer Dave Palmer before
rejoining ABC for a further three albums. Dave quickly gained a reputation as
one of the finest session musicians around and worked with some of the legends
of the industry including U2, Bob Marley, Paul McCartney, Elton John, George
Michael, Bee Gee's and Robbie Williams either live or in the studio.
Dave's credits as a writer & a producer is equally impressive writing for
the likes of Sinead O'Connor, Michael Hutchence and Simply Red. He has produced
songs for Take That, The Human League, Kraftwerk and Lenny Henry amoungst others.
Dave also has his own act The Pressure Zone (with whom he has done four albums)
and he has been a member of Simply Red since thier album Home.
