DAVE SPOON
DJ / WRITER / PRODUCER

At the tender age of 16, Dave Spoon entered the world of dance music via a chance meeting with The Prodigy’s Liam Howlett at an after show party. From this meeting, Dave started his production career.

Like many dance music producers, Dave branched out in to DJing, road testing his new tuens and seeing what worked on dance floors across the country. In 2004 he penned the now legendary house classic 21st Century. The track was picked up in the UK by leading indie dance label Toolroom Records, and was licenced around the world becoming a classic dance track in every territory where it was released.

Dave became a well known name in house music, and off the back of this track he collaborated with Lisa Mafia (from the So-Solid Crew), producing a track titled Bad Girl (At Night). Universal snapped the track up in early 2007.

After having fought off the attentions other publishers, Reverb Music are proud to welcome Dave into the ever growing writer-family at Reverb House.
