His Tag “Sak Pase” is the first thing you hear on most of his musical masterpieces. Born in Fort Lauderdale, FL?on June 24, 1982, Sham aka Shama Joseph currently resides in Atlanta, GA. Sham currently works out of Penthouse Recording studios in the cultural rich Downtown Auburn Avenue district of Atlanta, GA. Growing up as a pastor’s son, whose mother also signed him up for piano lessons at a young age, Sham became very musically balanced. Sham played the keyboard, and bass guitar in his father’s church for years before deciding that he wanted to officially become a producer. Sham is managed by Jules Dougall and Mark “Biddy” Barnes and is represented by his best friend of 20 yrs Ricardo O. Bernard Esq. Sham works closely with Akons younger brother Bu Thiam (VP Def Jam, Co-Ceo Konvict Music/JIVE, CEO Bu Vision Sham has worked with Grammy award winning songwriter Nate Walka (Blame It, Say Aah, Drummer Boy, Grammy nominated songwriters Rock City (Jennifer Hudson, PCD, Mario, Justin Bieber). Sham cites Phil Collins, Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Dr. Dre,Timabaland, Phil Spector, Wyclef Jean, Jerry Wonda, Stevie Wonder, Al Green, and Swizz Beats as his musical influences... Shama's recent songs cut include 'Man Down' taken from Rihanna's new album 'Loud' the recent top 5 single in the UK with Drummer Boy' with Alesha Dixon as well as continued callaborations with new girlband 'Parade' signed to Asylum Records and L signed to Future Recordings /Universal.
