JAMES BRIGHT
James Bright is a music producer / artist / DJ. His debut album entitled Northern Lights by Lux was released on the Tundra label, part of Newstate Entertainment.
Lux is a collaboration between James and Steve Miller of Afterlife. The duo began work together in 2000 and had success straight away with their first song Northern Lights which was immediately snapped up for the Cafe Del Mar volume sevencompilation. Since then that song and many of the others from the Lux album have appeared on countless compilations, TV programmes, adverts and websites worldwide.

James also collaborated with renowned DJ Pete Gooding on a track called Chilli Squid, that appeared on Cafe Mambo 2004. As a DJ James has played at such places as Cafe Mambo Ibiza and Amsterdam's Suppa Club.
Recently James has started work on his first solo album, which he uses his own name to write under. Although the music is still very much in the genre of chill / lounge / ambient it differs from the Lux album as many of the songs feature vocals, much of them courtesy of Rachel Lloyd, who herself has had success musically in the past with both Afterlife and Mooi. The first two songs that James produced were both quickly released on compilations, Little Things which appears on Hed Kandis Es vive / base bar and By Your Side which appears on Siddharta Vol 3.
